They are going to count rural braodband as defence spending but cut £500m by scrapping ships, drones and helicopters and cut £160m from the Tempest fighter programme. A government singularly poorly equipped to deal with the realities of the 21st century.

My concern is that the politicians accepting the Casey Report do not understand what they are accepting. The report lays bare that local Gov, police, child services, charities, and so on were all either negligent or complicit. They will need nothing less than total reform.
