Today is International Dhole Day! We made these great memes for a contest by The Dhole Project in Western Ghats. The first one was actually a contest winner, but we've also provided the other entries. A great day to learn more about this highly endangered and unique canid!

April 20, 8.40 pm. Had a serendipitous encounter with this beautiful #tigress while driving to dinner. Less than a minute, but enough to elevate moods and boost morales. 🐯💛

April 15, 3.20pm. On our walk back from the day’s survey, nothing about the route or its vibe hinted at a potential #wildlife sighting. As we sauntered our way along the serpentine forest road, this pack of 13+ #dholes decided to cross our path 🦊🧡

April 2, 12.20 pm. On our way back, the clouds offered some respite and in the overcast forests we saw this majestic male, tusks so long it almost scraped the ground… he moved with ease, saw us, noticed us, gave us a side eye… but went about doing his thing🐘🩶
