For starters, David Davtian has been looking at twas for type 2 diabetes. His conclusion, go tight on the genetics and disease and you can be sloppy on the tissue cell type, may not be universally accepted at this conference.

Taking a breather from his PhD, @Theodysse has looked at gene prioritisation methods with pharma friends. Looking at a whole range of diseases, he finds gene properties are more replicable than genetic info, find OMIM/exome genes + he also knows a lot about where the biases are!

Really happy for Aline Réal to be getting this out. Major implication for me is I've always assumed gwas hits will be explained by expression as it has to mediate then. But here Aline Réal shows these expression effects can take many forms, not all picked up by common tech
