And to wrap up: a look at protein-lipid interactions as mechanisms for pollen-induced thunderstorm asthma, from Arslan Siddique Stuart Prescott Patrick Spicer Andrew Nelson Anton Le Brun Daniela Hui Xin Ong with neutron reflectometry at ANSTO UNSW School of Chemical Engineering #SydneySoftSurfaces
Pleased to see my ANSTO co-supervisor Andrew Nelson receiving the ANBUG Technical Award, and Isaac Gresham for a well-deserved outstanding PhD Thesis Award. #ANBUGAwards2022 #AANSS2022 #NeutronReflectometry
Thunder storm asthma and neutron reflectivity ⚡⛈️🌩️ Arslan Siddique delivers a lovely talk on his research in an important area of health science. UNSW UNSW Science Supervised by Stuart Prescott Patrick Spicer Andrew Nelson Thanks to AINSE Ltd. & ANSTO for supporting him.
Exciting and thought provoking presentations on the research directions and trajectory in the topic of Thunderstorm asthma! Greatly enjoyed listening to the presentations of Betsy stone (University of Iowa ), Dr Kathryn Emmerson (CSIRO), Ed Newbgin (Melbourne Pollen Count and Forecast) and Stuart Prescott (UNSW)
How do you model pollen-airway interactions using cellulose and mucin systems to understand transport during thunderstorm asthma events? Insightful work by Arslan Siddique and Stuart Prescott .
A big thank you to Stuart Prescott showing us the importance of thunderstorm asthma and the chemistry behind it from the chemistry of clouds to surface chemistry of polen inhalation through thunderstorm radical soup with beautiful neutron reflectance or QCM-D results.
Just received a news - my application for AINSE Early Career Researcher Grant (ECRG) 2023 was successful. 🎉So grateful for the unwavering support from AINSE Ltd., first during my PhD research on "Thunderstorm Asthma", and now on the "Origin of Life"UNSW Science and ANSTO.
What would Stuart Prescott if he were here right now? Congratulations on being awarded the 2023 Neutron Award - extremely well deserved!
I am pleased to host this exciting symposium on LLPS and related phenomena with Arslan Arslan Siddique Please join us for the great symposium‼️ Tomorrow at 16:00, room C-2 #IUPAB2024
We, me & Arslalan Arslan Siddique thanks to all the speakers and participants for the excellent presentations and stimulating discussions! There were many people in the room, even in front of the PC diaplay outside the room☺️
With Tony Z. Jia, we wrote a comment on the "Origin of Life" symposium at #IUPAB2024, now published in Biophysical Reviews. link.springer.com/article/10.100… Big thanks again to all participants and speakers: Frenkel-Pinter Lab, Tomoko Yamaguchi, Arslan Siddique, Seung Soo Oh, and ShunsukeTAGAMI!
