Totally excited to take part in the 2nd Art and Ecology Cafe Fertile Lands tmmw hosted by RBGE Creative Programmes , @hannahimlach, @ecoartscotland Anna Floramedica and RBGE staff. Also speculate on food availability in an imagined 2033 and taste 'beyond' meat, crickets and regenerative veg

Walking barefooted in the RBGE Creative Programmes gardens whilst imagining the #woodwideweb with @hannahimlach @ecoartscotland+ others today was a memorable moment. This #Art+#Ecology cafe explored hidden microscopic lives +#futurefood scenarios including #insectprotein +#seaweed

What will #futurefoods look like if global soils are so depleted that we must grow our food- 95% of which relies on it- by other means? Best case scenario may be #regenerativeag otherwise it's #hydroponics or sea based foods such as #seaweed or even #insects!

As we say goodbye to 'Living Soil', we want to thank Natalie Taylor Artist, our volunteers & staff.🤎 This photo series celebrates soil & people who care for it. Taylor invited Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh staff & volunteers to wear the Keepers of the Soil cape & share their relationships with soil.🥔🚜

New #scranfirbees piece now flowering in North Edinburgh at Fidra Court. BEES=SCRAN is bursting with poppies for our insect friends . Next up is Corn Marigold and Cornflower. Annuals for now, hopefully perennials next. North Edinburgh Arts commission

Delighted to be included in this feminist exhibition Women's Work is Never Done, curated by #catherinedezegher on at the #richardsaltoungallery London until 24/1/24 with short #keepersofthesoil film made on Coll celebrating our precious #peatbogs and biodiversity.

So sad to see this STILL happening in the 21ST CENTURY!! With UK amongst the top nature depleted countries globally and ONE IN SIX of our native species at threat, how can we still allow this to happen on land that urgently needs trees/forests to create biodiverse habitats??

Very unsettled by @CllrScottArthur's proposal removing 2km of favourite cycle path in Edinburgh. I use this path EVERY DAY on foot or on bike and love the peace and quiet offered by the vehicle- free route to Haymarket from Granton. Council meeting TODAY to decide. Email yours!
