Wondering how a single base-pair increment of linker DNA affects chromatin folding? The latest work done in #vanNoort lab at Leiden Institute of Physics (LION) shows some answers based on single-molecule stretching experiments and Monte Carlo simulations. academic.oup.com/nar/advance-ar…

NEWS - Single-molecular imaging techniques show how HELQ enzyme facilitates DNA repair: lms.mrc.ac.uk/single-molecul… The Francis Crick Institute and MRC LMS researchers, David Rueda utilised single molecule imagery via an optical tweezer set-up combined with microfluidics and confocal microscopy.

We have an MRC Laboratory of Medical Sciences (LMS) funded postdoc position to investigate chromatin remodelling dynamics using smFRET and our C-traps LUMICKS - a collaboration with Prof Dale Wigley's lab Imperial Medicine Interested applicants, please apply by April 3rd here: lms.mrc.ac.uk/vacancies/mrc-…

Companies really need to do better in packing their products, its a waste of packing material and unnecessary. The only company I see that is making a clear effort is New England Biolabs , well done you guys and they should be an example for other companies out there.

One figure says it all! Together with David MJ Lilley, we captured and quantified a complete reaction trajectory of a junction-resolving enzyme. Wonderful collaboration of David Rueda and David MJ Lilley lab!

First time as LUMICKS, this week I joined a great inter-lab meeting David Rueda The Boulton Lab Lori Passmore 😊 Exciting single molecule data and many friends from Imperial/The Crick/LMB 😉

So happy to see this story out! Dynamic single-molecule and cryo-EM data reveal how the FANCD2-FANCI complex detects damaged DNA sites. Huge thanks to Pablo Alcón, Lori Passmore, and Korak Ray for this wonderful collaboration during my postdoc at David Rueda MRC Laboratory of Medical Sciences (LMS)

I have two PhD positions available in my group next year! These projects are looking at how disordered regions alter protein dynamics. One is through the Yorkshire BBSRC DTP, advertisement to come, but more information can be found here: whiterose-mechanisticbiology-dtp.ac.uk/yorkshire-bios…

We are recruiting! Post-doctoral position ( translation, protein biosynthesis, regulation of gene expression, antibiotics, ribosome, bacterial cell cycle, bacteria, secondary metabolites) ibb.edu.pl/en/career/care… Narodowe Centrum Nauki
