Our Annual Spring Instrument Drive is coming up! We accept new and lightly used keyboards, guitars, violins, drums, amplifiers, cables, music books, computer equipment, musical scores, and sheet music. Instruments must be in excellent working condition with no scrapes or damage.

IN NEED OF FIDDLES: If you have a fiddle that is in excellent working condition to donate to Northern Youth, please reach out to [email protected] Our annual spring instrument drive will be held on Sat, May 17th, from 12-3 p.m. at Hugh's Room Live, downtown Toronto.

Our Music Program in Pikangikum First Nation is going strong. Students are practicing 3x a week in our after-school program for the June recital. Because of the public's support and TD Bank Ready Commitment, Pikangikum's music room is stocked with beautiful donated instruments!

We're looking for 2 - 3 musician volunteers who can spare a few hours on a warm summer day in June to help us check the donated instruments and equipment to ensure they're in good working order. Reach out to [email protected] for more information.

Introducing the newest member of our team! Sherri Kabatay has joined Artscan Circle as the Program Coordinator. Sherri is working with communities to deliver responsive programming that meets the needs of the youth and helps build their creative, artistic expression.
