At IISc Rohini used to be on her cycle, full of energy. She held the baton of particle physics for three decades. She was strong willed and looked at science from the perspective of her field and thus was quite subjective at times. She will be missed in Indian physics.

The demise of Prof Anil Kumar is a great loss to science. Knew him from 90s as chair Physics, IISc, a pleasant personality, full of enthusiasm and a stalwart scientist with contribution to two NMR Nobel prizes! We coauthored the first NMRQC paper from India in 2000.

We gratefully remember Prof. Anil Kumar's invaluable contributions to IISER Mohali, especially in its formative years. He helped in establishing our NMR Facility. His memory lives on in our hearts.

Thanks to collaborators,Kavita,Chandan, Akshay, Vaishali, Akanksha, Krishna, Jorawar, Sarbani, Mohak and Gayatri, we have double digit submssions to quant-ph in 2024!

Around 28 international personnel from 16 countries visited the NMR Lab at IISER Mohali. They are participating in a two-week training program on Quantum Computing and Information Science, organized by CDAC Mohali.
