Excited to share this paper (rdcu.be/dtHUr) from our group on development of ML potentials to describe the effective #manybody interactions between polymer-grafted nanoparticles in a polymer melt, enabling exploration of their large-scale self-assembly behavior.

This fantastic work was done by my former PhD student Yilong Zhou, in collaboration with a former postdoc Sigbjørn Løland Bore from the Paesani Lab and Andrea Tao from UCSD, funded by the UC San Diego MRSEC.

Congratulations to Yilong Zhou, whose poster was selected as “MRS Best Post Award Nominee” at the just-concluded MRS Spring meeting! In this poster, he talked about his PhD work on modeling anisotropic assembly of nanoparticles using a combination of MD, optimization, and ML.
