Our teacher trainees are now taking responsibility for the teaching and learning of science on their primary PGCE placements. Our trainee, Freya, has planned and implemented lessons on deciduous and evergreen trees and led her Y1 class to investigate their local environment! 🍂

We had a fantastic time on Saturday at the Get Into Teaching event in Manchester. It was inspiring to meet so many enthusiastic individuals eager to embark on their teaching careers. It was also lovely to see our colleagues at the AMP SCITT.

One of our teacher trainees, Carly (PGCE Primary), has launched a lunchtime club where the children are starting with number bonds in their first session. It’s wonderful to see the amazing initiatives our trainees are taking during their placements!

We were delighted to welcome Anthony Benedict from the Ambition Community Trust today, who delivered an inspiring session on trauma-informed practice and relational inclusion to our teacher trainees.👏
