Our review is finally out in Developmental Cell !! It was fun writing it during the shelter-in-place. Highly recommended to everyone interested in #lysosome,#autophagy, #mTOR. Plus, I think it's very well written :-p Couldn't have done this without Roberto Zoncu

biorxiv.org/content/10.110… New study out in bioRxiv, led by stellar grad student Oliver Davis. Using organelle proteomics, we identify defective proteolysis and increased membrane damage as key traits of lysosomal dysfunction in cholesterol storage disorder, Niemann-Pick C.

Happy to see this review, written with an amazing graduate student Melissa Roberts (Melissa Roberts), out in Annual Reviews. We explore emerging intersections of #lipiddroplet metabolism, proteome regulation, and protein quality control. annualreviews.org/doi/abs/10.114…

Our NPC1-mTORC1 paper out in Developmental Cell : tinyurl.com/y3zgzgpo. Using lysosome mass spec, we show that aberrant mTORC1 signaling drives organelle dysfunction downstream of cholesterol storage in NPC. New lyso-lipidomics and mitophagy data since preprint. Congrats Oliver & team!

Postdoctoral position available in our lab to unravel lysosomal mechanisms of neurodegeneration, exciting collaboration with Hurley Lab. Experience with neuronal cell biology, iPSCs or high-throughput screens preferred but not essential, boundless enthusiasm a must. Pls RT!
