🚨 Cutting Medicaid is a direct attack on Veterans. Nearly 1 in 10 Veterans rely on it for healthcare. Gutting it means losing treatment, struggling with injuries, and being left with nowhere to turn. Risking everything to only be left behind. #DontCutOurMedicaid

TLDR Johnson convinced people who are supposed to be moderates to vote for deep cuts to Medicaid because the Senate is supposedly going to responsible and not allow them. If you know it’s irresponsible to vote in favor of healthcare cuts for millions of people, why do it at all?

Got back to the basics this weekend! Proud to have talked all things foreign affairs, including the importance of getting more young people involved in the conversation, with Council on Foreign Relations and marched the streets in defense of our democracy.

Today I’m thinking about the soldiers wondering what harms may be coming their way, the military spouses, parents, and children who had fear keep them awake last night, and the American youth, who now measure their lives in wars and Donald fucking Trump presidencies.
