Our inaugural Yr 3 NEST enrichment course starts today at Narrabeen Sports High School. 30 students and 5 expert staff from our 4 schools who have collaborated to put together a brilliant STEM program for the next two days. Thank you also to Ash from Taronga Zoo for the collab and challenge!

What a brilliant two days of learning, problem-solving and collaboration by our teachers from The NEST Collaboration , Ash from Taronga Zoo and most impressively, 30 of our Yr 3 students. So much learning about physics, maths, engineering and creativity.

The most wholesome project I have worked on since starting at the Taronga. Seeing students, design, collaborate and workshop ideas to solve a problem. As they grow and get a better understanding of the world they will be able to use these same skills to solve real world problems.
