Members of Athlone Sub-Aqua Club's Search and Recover Unit are returning to the water today along with teams from the Garda Water Unit and Roscommon Civil Defence to continue the search for a person missing in the Athlone area.

UPDATE: There is nothing to report from today's search of the river from the dual carriageway bridge to just past Wren's Island including the flooded land on both the east and west bank of the river. The search will continue tomorrow.
