Tomorrow brings a difficult day for many, the industrial action by nurses. This is not a simple case of pay but also safety for health care and yes this could be the start of the perfect storm. The fundament right to protest and free speech needs hearing.

In support of the comments from the head of the RCEM In the early 2000 I was asked to look at suggestions from the emergency service collaborative. In simple don’t over manage just create support and service 24/7 but also don’t push above 85% bed occupancy. Do the maths

Again I read and watch the pain in health care professionals feeling they have no choice but to strike. Yes there is issues on pay but a NHS that is crumbling. As a nation if we want care listen to those who deliver it.

Why the health minister keeps referring to an independent pay body that is restricted by the government budgets! And to accuse NHS of causing harm is just beyond belief the action is as much about condition of the NHS as pay
