1/ We're seeing a concerning rise in H5 wastewater positivity in Turlock CA. Unlike previous H5 signals, WastewaterSCAN is showing an exponential rise in H5 (and flu A) concentration that has persisted for almost a month!

This bill should never have been introduced, it fails to uphold Māori rights. The Hīkoi (march) will arrive at New Zealand’s parliament and calls for the bill to be dropped. #ProtectTheProtest

These coronaviruses like COVID circulate in the wild all over Asia. We only know about some of them. They recombine and jump species ALL THE TIME. That’s why scientists study them- to make drugs and vaccines to protect us #COVIDー19 #SARSCoV2 #COVID_19 #COVID

Did you know free annual checkups, and preventative screenings like mammograms, colonoscopies and pap smears didn't used to be free? This is a part of the Affordable Care Act. Pass it on.

If my technique was so poor that I got even a single lab-acquired infection in the course of culturing any virus, I wouldn't brag about it. In my lab, staff with this low level of technical competence would not be allowed to handle infectious virus at any level of containment.

Raw milk is popular in some circles, but can contain pathogens. That is well known. In the US , that list of pathogens is expanded and includes H5N1, a virus that is a pandemic threat. If you did not like the pandemic, don’t take a gamble for a next one: dont drink raw milk

Lots of ?s about raw milk. 1) there is no credible evidence raw milk benefits health. 2) There is evidence raw milk can harm. Small outbreaks, yes. But that's likely b/c raw milk producers are small. If raw milk were distributed nationally, there'd likely be larger outbreaks.
