Every eGFR equations overestimated mGFR values at relevant thresholds of 45 and 60 by up to 14 points. Confirmatory mGFR testing may be indicated in borderline (+-10) eGFR cases AND guidance clinical should specify which equations/test clinical threshold values relate to.
