Trip to StaffsWildlife π¦ππ¦ Highgate common today and found my first ever Bagworm. Narycia duplicella, White-speckled Bagworm. π The larva of these moths feed on lichen and make a case covered in bits of lichen, good camouflage.

Loads going on again at this year's StaffsInvertScience. Some fab talks and all the usual stalls and societies in attendance. Nice to have a few new societies and faces coming too to keep growing and evolving the event. Saturday March 1st, @staffsuni and hosted by StaffsInvertGroup.

You can meet Trine from Riverfly Partnership at this year's SISF on Saturday March 1st StaffsUni Bioscience . There will also be the usual pond dipping stall with Nick Mott and Andy Farmer, so plenty of aquatics for those interested in our waterways.
