Lady Indians move to 3-0 after a 65-36 win over DME Academy. Jasmine Jones scored a career high 31 points after scoring 24 points last night. Mekhila Brown also scored in double digits with ten, Chipola will travel to Mississippi Gulf Coast on Thursday, November 16.

Congratulations to sophomore Jasmine Jones for being named the FCSAA WBB Player of the Week. Jasmine Averaged 26.3 points, 5.0 rebounds, 1.3 assists, 2.7 steals and 1.3 blocks in three games. Last Friday, she scored 24 to lead all scorers in a 68-54 win over #10 Shelton State.

The #17 Lady Indians go to 8-1 on the season with a 100-43 win over Andrew College. Jasmine Jones had a double-double with 30 points and 11 rebounds. Four other players had double digits: Victoria Morales (22); Tahnyjia Purifoy (17); & Mekhila Brown (12).

The FCSAA Region 8 Player of the Week is Tahnyjia Purifoy. She led the way in our win at #4 Northwest Florida on Saturday. She also led all scorers with 28 points in our win over #1 Gulf Coast on 2/7. In 9 games against RANKED opponents, “Lil Ma” has averaged 21.7 points.
