Today IRC - VIB/UGent BD is installing the first spectral Imaging Flow sorter in the world. We’ve been beta testing for 2 years. Allows you to sort cells based on 50+ colours simultaneously with image analysis. VIB Flow Core Ghent

Happy to share our paper : STE20 kinase TAOK3 regulates type 2 immunity and metabolism in obesity Journal of Experimental Medicine This kinase keeps on surprising us. Also affects marginal zone B cells and cDC2 by regulating Notch2. Stay tuned for future work on ILC1…. rupress.org/jem/article/22…

So cool! Congratulations Gert! We are all super proud of you and the work your team does for the VIB Flow Core Ghent. You keep us at the forefront of Flow Cytometry!

Check out our new paper on protein crystals driving Th2 immunity doi.org/10.7554/eLife.… eLife - the journal A refreshing way of peer review at eLife. Authors can better control how many new experiments they want to do in response to comments raised, without fear of rejection.

🎉 Congratulations to Bart Lambrecht for receiving an European Research Council (ERC) Proof of Concept grant to develop an innovative imaging technique to study crystals in asthmatic airways. #ERCPoC vibbio.tech/4cp6ema

Have a look at our new #preprint on Research Square: Early life RSV infection as a preventable risk factor for asthma researchsquare.com/article/rs-536… Contains epidemiology on entire Danish population, 24000 hospital admissions for RSV and causality experiments in mouse model

Congrats Stijn Verwaerde for getting an EMDS prize. Stay tuned for his work on alveolar macrophages and transcriptional of their identity

Happy new year, this paper just made it for 2024. Thanks to hard efforts of all in the lab. A new way to select clones for generating TCR transgenic mice, no cloning involved doi.org/10.7554/eLife.… eLife - the journal
