$BSE is pleased to share that the Kwale PAVI Cooperative Society successfully harvested 1.3t of cotton across its Ramisi, Kinondo and Kubo South fields. The Kwale PAVI Cooperative Society is critical to empowering local farmers through the promotion of sustainable agriculture.

$BSE recently had the pleasure of hosting a tour with Dr. Emmanuel Nzai, Chairman of Vision 2030 at Kwale. As Kenya’s largest mine and a flagship project under the Vision 2030 national development blueprint, $BSE is proud to contribute to Kenya's economic growth and development.

$BSE had the privilege of hosting H.E. Hon. Ali Hassan Joho, EGH, Cabinet Secretary for Mining, Blue Economy & Maritime Affairs for his inaugural site tour of our Kwale Operations. The Cabinet Secretary commended $BSE as a model for future sustainable mining ventures.

$BSE recently developed a mangrove nursery along the Mwazaro beach front with support from the Mwazaro Primary School and the Mwazaro Beach Management Unit $BSE facilitated the propagation of 500 seedlings and collected 279kg of waste as part of our commitment to sustainability

$BSE is pleased to contribute to the establishment and growth of PAVI Cooperative, which began in 2016 and has since expanded to over 3000 small-scale farmers. From launching maize and animal feed mills, PAVI is now nearing completion of a cotton ginnery.
