#BAVS2019 has been such a great experience. I’ve learned a great deal from the conference, especially about The Celtic Revival. I am working on a Scottish author and have been very happy to learn more about Scotland in the nineteenth century. You’ve done so well, Dundee!

Born in Dundee #onthisday, Frances Wright (September 6, 1795 – December 13, 1852) was a lecturer, writer, freethinker, feminist, abolitionist, and social reformer. (She was also our spectral guest of honour during University of Dundee’s hosting of BAVS last year.)
