Great to see lots of pollinators on a walk around Hammersmith Park with Urbanwise.London . The group helped record 119 pollinating insects with bumblebees the most abundant at 42. They loved the catmint in flowerbeds but the greatest variety were seen in native meadow and shrubs.

Working with volunteers and council ecologists we recorded over 150 pollinating insects at Normand Park on a pollinator count. The meadow area had many hover flies and this beautiful common blue butterfly. The community garden had this tree bumblebee feeding on verbena.
