Kimberly McIntosh https://bsky.app/profile/kimmi91 Elijah More from Cllr Kimberly McIntosh https://bsky.app/profile/kimmi91 on how to keep clubs open: “It's also about who is the loudest, who is the most engaged, and who knows how to navigate these systems, such as complaining to the council, going to the police, reporting things to licencing...” theguardian.com/commentisfree/…

Well, the news is out. After two wonderful years, my time with Reader’s Digest has ended. I'm so grateful for my lovely supportive team, and the opportunity I got to work on an iconic print magazine. Sending love to my talented colleagues 💜 if you get the chance, hire them!

"Summerhall could, at some point, become flats or student accommodation, the prospect of which is chilling. For the culture of Edinburgh, and all the excellent people and companies who work at Summerhall, we hope that doesn’t happen." - Jamie Dunn 🇪🇺 theskinny.co.uk/art/news/edinb…

How is Edinburgh meant to remain a global culture destination if it can't keep its own year-round venues open? The loss of the Jazz Bar has already left a massive hole. Hoping against hope that we don't lose Summerhall too.

Never gets old seeing Scottish artists receiving their flowers 💐💅 corto.alto was one of my favourite sets at Kelburn Garden Party this year, and I am still dying to interview Barry Can't Swim about his Edina scene roots. Best of luck to all nominees 💜

This is fantastic news that Summerhall will stick around in the short term, but the people of Edinburgh really need to start using the venues they love so dearly. The last few things I've been at at Summerhall have been really quiet. Use it or lose it! theskinny.co.uk/art/news/summe…

EDIMO PEREIRA DJ Mag Jason Singh PlantWave Becca Inglis I love field recording but biosonfication gives me a different opportunity to connect with the natural world through sound. And no traffic/plane noise to worry about!
