This morning we held a street surgery with Jeff Smith in Ladybarn. We had lots of good conversations with residents, and we are following up on the issues raised. We then did a door-knocking session, where we updated people on the work weโve been doing in the local area. ๐น

Throughout August, Bee Network are lifting the 9.30am rule on older and disabled peopleโs bus passes. Theyโll analyse data to see whether it will be possible to make it permanent. Another fab example of Andy Burnham working with local Labour to benefit residents in need. ๐๐๐ป
We were out today with Fallowfield, Withington, Levenshulme Police (GMP) for speedwatch around Fairholme Road. Residents joined us to discuss concerns, and GMP pulled over a number of motorists. ๐ฎ๐ผโโ๏ธ ๐ We will do more speedwatch in the coming months, and will keep lobbying the Council for action on road safety.
