Lucas J. Matthews and Daphne Martschenko, PhD were working on a project involving FAQs. They struggled to find a comprehensive list & reached out to Ben Domingue and Sam Trejo to see if they knew of one. When it became clear that no such list existed, the idea to create FoGS emerged.
