The Lurie Cancer Center (LCC) went thru competing renewal of NCI designation. For a 2nd time we got "exceptional" ranking. The NCI site visit team gave a "perfect exceptional" (equivalent to 10). LCC is one of few in the nation and the only one in IL to ever achieve exceptional status.
