Kyiv is under attack. Meanwhile, my cousin’s son managed to score the number of a cute girl in the neighborhood bomb shelter. Sums up our family very well. Glory to Ukraine.

An observation: In making the argument that the US would spend an entire war doing nothing but debate pronouns, certain parts of the right have spent this entire war doing nothing but talking about pronouns.

“All previous events, like the first time Putin invaded Ukraine, poisoned Navalny, shot Nemtsov, dismantled Memorial, criminalized dissent and drove real journalists out of the country were totally fine. I was happy to take money from Russian taxpayers as their lives got worse.”

These people should never work in media again. I don’t say “journalism” because that’s never what they did. Do not call them “reporters” or “journalists.” That’s never what they were. They were Putin’s propagandists. Do you want one working for you?
