Horrifying, painstaking account of the killings in Bucha by Carlotta Gall and Daniel Berehulak. So far the bodies number 360. “They shot everything,” said Mr. Rodchenko. “They shot at houses. They shot a woman on the street. They shot at dogs.” nytimes.com/interactive/20

As the Russian advance on Kyiv stalled, the enemy occupation of #Bucha slid into a campaign of terror and revenge. Russian soldiers set up in a school. A sniper in a high-rise fired at anybody who moved. Others tortured, raped and executed civilians in basements or backyards.

In a no man's land of charred wheat fields and cratered villages, Ukrainian forces are preparing for what is perhaps their most ambitious military action of the war: retaking Kherson. I'll be in the region with Daniel Berehulak reporting on developments. nytimes.com/2022/07/25/wor

It’s time for me to tell my side of the story. Having worked for Amnesty International for 7 years, I would have never imagined that a single report could jeopardize 30 years of achievements in human rights protection in #Ukraine. Yet this is exactly what happened. washingtonpost.com/opinions/2022/
