On the Srebrenica 29th anniversary year our tree of commemoration in Stormont Estate, supported by all political parties across the community in Northern Ireland, is flourishing. A living memorial to the victims.

UK Government Minister Lord Wajid Khan visits bosnia House, Birmingham

This week, Remembering Srebrenica & Bosnia UK Network were honoured to welcome Lord Wajid Khan to Bosnia House in Birmingham. As we approach the 30th anniversary of the Bosnian genocide, we are pleased to have the support of & commitment from the Minister & the Government for our work.

Earlier this week I was in Birmingham to hear how Bosnia UK Network supports Bosnian refugees. The Srebrenica genocide was one of the worst atrocities on European soil since the Second World War and must never be forgotten, which is why I am proud to support the work of Remembering Srebrenica.

On the 22nd February, RMC brought the community together at the Old Library in Digbeth to mark three years since the war in Ukraine began.  On an emotional day we heard from leaders, community members and those impacted by the war as we stood together in solidarity for Ukraine.

The Parliamentary celebration of BiH's Independence Day took place in the Jubilee Room at the House of Commons, London. The event was hosted by Alicia Kearns MP and organised by the BiH All-Party Parliamentary Group. His Excellency Osman Topagić, Ambassador of BiH to the UK, #wntvuk
