CJ McCollum has gone nuclear tonight. He’s tied a season-high 42 points off 16-23 shooting and 10-12 (!!!) from three.

FINAL: Wizards 132, Hawks 113 Complete domination by Washington. They shot 50% from three, led by CJ McCollum who went unconscious: 46 points off 68% shooting and 10-13 from deep. The Wizards win their first ever NBA Cup game and their first home game since Apr. 2 of last year.

Here are MOST of CJ McCollum's buckets tonight. A few of them were open looks, but he earned the vast majority of his buckets. One of the best games of his career: 46 points off 17-25 shooting and 10-13 from three.

Guard-forward Corey Kispert sustained a fracture to the tip of his right thumb in the third quarter of the Wizards’ game against the Atlanta Hawks on Nov. 25. The injury will be treated conservatively, and Kispert’s recovery status will be updated as appropriate.

Very cool stat from our Monumental Sports Network pregame show. Alex Sarr is 4th in Wizards/Bullets franchise history in total rebounds through 82 games. His rebounding was arguably the weakest aspect of his game coming out of the NBL. Looks like he's made serious strides.

FINAL: Pacers 119, Wizards 86 The Wizards showed little defensive resistance to the now-3-win Pacers and allowed them to score 58 points in the paint. Alex Sarr was a bright spot with 24 points. Washington fall to 2-16.

Sad. Was hoping to see Sarr vs. Giannis tonight, would be a good barometer of Sarr’s development since matching up against him last year. Have to wait until New Year’s Eve (at the earliest) now.

Alex Sarr will be out for tomorrow’s game in Philadelphia, in addition to tonight’s game vs. Milwaukee, with groin soreness, per Brian Keefe.

Brian Keefe when asked by Bijan Todd about Will Riley’s 36-point outing for the Go-Go: “These things are very valuable…playing time, working on things they’ve been doing in practice, game experience…I think those things are super valuable for our organization.”

Coach Keefe said that Kyshawn and Bilal are ready for the challenge of guarding bigger players like Giannis, also how they’ve been already doing it since they been in the league Question asked by Bijan Todd

Bilal has now blocked Giannis twice in the first half tonight, and both blocks were pretty convincing. Great timing and anticipation.

I've said it before but I will continue to buy Cam Whitmore stock the way he's been playing over the last ~3 weeks. Wizards haven't had a lob threat like this in a LONG time 🔥

FINAL: Wizards 129, Bucks 126 Crazy ending as Bilal's steal-and-score sealed the win for Washington. Great bench minutes from Whitmore (17 pts) and Vukcevic (16 pts), but the vets closed it out for the Wizards -- huge crunch time buckets by CJ and Khris. Wiz get win No. 3
