We begin the Perfecting process on the House floor of the FY 26 Operating Budget. It is $47.9 billion. $5.7 Billion below the Governor’s recommendations.

By a vote of 147 yes and 1 no the House has passed my HB 657 as part of HB 147 which would require all Mo state pension funds to invest solely for the economic benefit of our state pensioners and not use ESG or any other consideration as a basis to invest

With the passage of House Bill 4. The House has placed $6 million to complete the necessary funding to bring Hwy MM in Brookline up to speed to handle the increased traffic as more and more industry establishes facilities there

Got the opportunity to update Congressman Jason Smith, Chair of the House Ways and Means Committee on the states effort to upgrade I-44 and to ask for his support in obtaining federal funding for the project.

The House just passed and sent to the Governor HB 147 which has my language which requires all state pension funds to make investment decisions and vote proxies in the economic best interest of their pensioners

My Nuisance Property language in HB 199 was just Truly Agreed and Finally Passed. This will have a huge impact on run down properties and the deadbeat landlords that neglect them all over the state. Another tool in revitalizing our older neighborhood

So sad to hear of the passing of former Governor and Senator Kit Bond. When I entered the Legislature in 1981 Kit was returning for his second term as Governor. He was a great public servant and a good friend. Rest in peace
