Day 1 of the #LIGHTAbuja2024 partners meeting has been a demonstration of the impact The LIGHT Consortium has made in TB and gender programming, and policy dialogues.

Data shows that between 2018 & 2021, over 50 percent of men who visited health facilities in Nigeria were not screened for TB which is a missed opportunity for bringing men into the TB care cascade. FCDO Global Health Research #LIGHTAbuja2024 #LIGHTonTB #LIGHTonNigeria

Day 2 of the LIGHT Meeting in Abuja 🇳🇬saw the teams visit Zankli Research Centre, & Esu Karu Palace where the team engaged with traditional leaders, district heads, & respected title holders. They met the local TB Action Group, whose youth TB champions are supporting The LIGHT Consortium's work🙌
