District 218 is taking an adaptive pause on in-person learning, due to the rising numbers of cases in the area. On Monday Nov 2nd, all classes will be back to remote learning on Zoom 4x a week.

#D218Tech will be migrating Skyward to a new server in June. #CHSD218 staff, students, and families should see improvements in Skyward performance next school year, especially during periods of peak usage.

The #CHSD218 Skyward system was successfully upgraded today. Skyward is now running on a new server which will make the system more robust and reliable. The #D218Tech team is continually looking for ways to improve our technology for staff, students, and families!

Congratulations to Assistant Superintendent for Curriculum and Instruction (and former Shepard principal) Dr. Josh Barron on becoming our new Superintendent! Board voted unanimously last night to hire Dr. Barron, who will succeed Dr. Ty Harting at the end of the academic year.

We're extremely proud to welcome Benjamin Blakeley as the new principal of Eisenhower! Mr. Blakeley, who will complete his doctorate in 2023, succeeds Dr. Erik Briseño, who becomes D218 Director of Curriculum and Instruction. Mr. Blakeley writes eloquently about coming to DDE!

This morning Superintendent Dr. Josh Barron welcomed faculty and staff to the first in-service. Our freshmen arrive for the first day of high school on Friday, all students come Monday. Like Dr. Barron, we're all excited to get the school year started -- welcome to 2022-2023!
