An incredible day in Northumberland. Ridiculous views of the White-billed Diver before it flew right over our heads towards the sea. Also Ring-necked Duck, Scaup, Smew, Bittern, Twite, Hen Harrier, Short-eared Owl, Velvet Scoter and RB Merganser ๐Ÿ˜ฎ

A lovely greyish day at Fairburn. A noisy Whooper Swan, Chiffchaff singing absolutely everywhere and Bitterns booming alongside Black-necked Grebes and Spoonbills ๐Ÿ™‚

We've barely been able to bird further than our garden this year thanks to a horrible run of bad luck with our health. But today we finally got to tick our 300th species! Collared Pratincole at St Aidan's thanks to our pal Morgan Caygill who found it this morning ๐Ÿฅณ
