I'm really sorry that the Positive Birth Book is again unavailable from Amazon. This is to do with ongoing issues with the publisher over which I have no control. It's extremely frustrating. You should be able to get one from any other bookshop and hopefully back on Amazon soon.

On doctors mocking birth plans...

This time 11 years ago I was using social media to launch a grassroots movement to improve birth. At the time it was crystal clear that this was a movement for women. Yet now the language leaps out. You just wouldn't see a post like this in the maternity world now.

Would this be a good day to say that The Positive Birth Book was Mumsnet Best Overall Pregnancy Book 2023 and that if you're quick, you can still get a copy for the pregnant woman in your life in time for Xmas? Simply wrap in brown paper and your safety from arrest is guaranteed.
