Last night, our volunteers assisted Shomrim Queens in an hours-long search to help locate a missing elderly woman. Thanks to the coordinated efforts, she has been safely located.

We’d like to extend our thanks to the volunteers of our sister organizations Flatbush Shomrim Safety Patrol, Williamsburg Shomrim, RNSP, Shomrim Queens and Staten Island Shomrim safety Patrol as well as Brooklyn Chaveirim and Chaverim Of Bergen County for coming out to assist us with the search efforts tonight.

A child's head became stuck in a porch gate on Marcy Ave, but swift-acting Chaveirim volunteers responded immediately and removed it with utmost care and professionalism.

Urgent Message from Chaveirim We are receiving numerous reports of power outages. To help prevent further outages, we urge everyone to immediately reduce electricity usage. In case of a power outage, generators are available for emergency use only.

As of 11AM, our dispatchers have handled over 2,300 calls for help and info, while our devoted members have responded to over 1,000 calls during this week’s brutal heat wave delivering life-saving generators to those on life support and distributing over 380 AC units to families
