Ignore the noise from big accounts saying AI should replace docs ASAP. AI has great potential but won't be replacing docs any time soon. To paraphrase Curt Langlotz: "docs who use AI will replace docs who do not." Gave one of my favorite lectures today for Michigan Cardiology



Shorter (3 year) medical degree students performed similarly to those in a traditional 4 year program. IMO next step is to assess the value of the BA degree before medical school. Likely minimal for most metrics relevant to average doc and typical patient. h/t Brahmajee Nallamothu
