Most good advice about prompting is actually about making sure you are giving the models all the necessary info to solve the problem. If you were writing instructions for a human who was completely unfamiliar with you and your problem, you’d need to do all the same things.

One thing I've been thinking about re:LLMs is that they let you get real time feedback about "instruction clarity". I wonder how much this ends up influencing "the instructions people give humans".
