Hi Bridget here checking in from UCSF School of Medicine. T1 Staying connecting with my co-authors and setting deadlines is helping me. But this is the first week that writing has actually felt focused! #MedEdChat

T1 Thanks for mentioning all these Kristina Dzara, PhD, MMSc These calls are great nudges. Lots of opportunities to put our observations and reflections into words and share them. #MedEdChat

This is so cool and inspiring! Staying active under COVID-19 lockdown Al Jazeera English aje.io/rmbqf

Dear United Airlines americanair Delta: I'd like to fly – which requires that I'm confident I won't catch Covid on your flight AND that you stay in business. Requiring masking on flights is key. My advice: at boarding, make brief announcement and put ⇩text on each seat. cc: The FAA ✈️

Would love to hear how others are making tough decisions about if, when, and how to proceed with HPE research during pandemic. We shared some of our thoughts here. journals.lww.com/academicmedici… Fun to write with Arianne Teherani @posucsf Christy Boscardin

Mind currently being blown by Thirusha Naidu🇿🇦🇨🇦 plenary on coloniality in #MedEd at #AMEE2022 . Her bringing home of the work of Fanon, a native son of France (through Martinique), to Lyon feels important and emotional.

Post #AMEE2022 I'm back in California, back to my routines, but something is different. As I walk my dog, Thirusha Naidu🇿🇦🇨🇦's words and rhythms reverberate in my mind. Shapeshifter, rule-breaker... your words have power! Thank you to Thirusha and her collaborators.

Hooray Dr. Alexis Battista (She/Her) !! Congratulations - so well deserved. Can't wait to see what's next!

Thank you AMA Ed Hub™ specifically the AMA Joan F. Giambalvo Fund for the Advancement of Women grants for this award. We hope to explore issues faced by immigrant female physicians related to xenophobia & nationalism & are grateful for this opportunity!

Congratulations Zareen Zaidi, MD PhD. Such an important topic that had received far too little attention. Thank you for taking up this topic so we can all learn from you and work with you to stop these harmful acts against immigrant women.
