A great start to our week in Sodwana bay with Operation Wallacea. A quick refresher dive for the qualified team followed by an orientation boat ride to learn launch and landing. Bonus was the bottlenose dolphins!! π¬

Awesome dive today with Lucca, Sam, Tim and Rowena, and Natalie from Operation Wallacea. First shark π¦, turtles π’, and incredible diversity of fish and coral in Sodwana bay. Meanwhile the snorkeling group were swimming with Dolphins!!!! π¬ π¬ π¬

"Not all classrooms have 4 walls". Ocean plastics discussion with Cardiff-born Katie Operation Wallacea on the beach following our beach clean today. Please be careful what you drop, you never know where it will end up, or the damage it could do. π’ π

Avela gives us our dive briefing before we head out to the reef, another passionate expert with Operation Wallacea . Snorkellers were with the dolphins whilst we spotted the huge leatherback turtle sleeping in his cave and some new species to us like the Titan triggerfish! π’ π .

A chilled afternoon for all. Presentation preparation for Operation Wallacea with breaks for a trip to the local shopping mall for souvenirs and a relaxing by the pool at Camp Jonathan.

The dive Team gear up and head for their last dive at 6.30 am on Thursday. And we got what we came for, Sharks! 2 stunning white tipped reef sharks. Simply awesome! π¦ π¦π¦π¦π¦. Great way to mark my 50th dive with Operation Wallacea.

Did we mention the π¦π¦? After a dip and hunt through the rock pools, the dive group head back to camp for the last time after a quick snap with Lew from Sodwana Bay lodge Scuba centre. Great memories for us all with Operation Wallacea

Last beach day goodbyes with some of the amazing people who made this trip special for us all! Sabela and Jeffries our drivers, Trist and team, our amazing boat driver and Caroline from Operation Wallacea who couldn't resist joining us! Diolch yn fawr iawn.

Here we go then! Sixth form out with Storey Arms OEC. Gorge walking today. Should be some good pics later!!

A day in the rivers with Storey Arms OEC. Great instructors, great students, brilliant teamwork and all with a positive approach to every challenge. @bohls_6form

Every gorge walk needs to end with some big jumps; and every student has their own style. Great fun had by all with Storey Arms OEC @bohls_6form

Going underground today with Storey Arms OEC. Afew tight squeezes, 'spiders cavern', 'the washing machine', and of course 'the toilet', await us. BOLHS_6Form

As always, so proud of our students BOLHS_6Form! They all went a little bit further than they thought they could; with a smile and laughter, supporting, guiding and encouraging each other; a great team to work with. Thank you Jordan and Simon from Storey Arms OEC!!

Last couple of pics from our 6th form BOLHS_6Form weekend with Storey Arms OEC. Looks like one of us had a little less style than the students as they worked their way through the cave.

A great morning for our science club working on their sustainable farming project with EESW STEM Cymru. Students built their greenhouses and wrote the coding to control and monitor their environmental sensors. All loved the experience. I wonder who'll grow the best crop?π±πΎπͺ΄
