Hey you, welcome to my social media takeover. My name is Tatiana Natalie Kondo but you can call me Banshee. I am an award winning creative advocate and human rights defender who uses her various creative disciplines to influence positive change.Really excited to interact.

I am also a Sexual Reproductive Health and Rights Activist under SRHR Africa Trust as well as a Mental Health Champion under The Global Health Dorcas Initiative.

I have also worked with Plan International under the Safe and Inclusive Cities project promoting community safety through civic engagement and youth participation in settlements such as Mbare, Epworth and Hatcliffe.

I am currently the only female skateboarding instructor under Bonelessons Skateboarding and have a strong passion for women and children’s rights issues, mental health and climate justice.

I also spearhead a womanist movement called Shee which is aimed at achieving the equality of the sexes through the creative arts and currently host an annual event called Battlescars and Healing which promotes mental health through creative expression

I am also a circus performer under Tamba Africa Social Circus

This week, during my social media takeover, we are going to be unpacking two topics that I hold very closely to my heart and these are Violence Against Women and Men’s Mental Health .

Violence against women is an act of gender based violence that manifests itself in the form of either physical, sexual , psychological, emotional or financial harm. It also encompasses threats of executing such ills and puts women in very vulnerable positions.

Men’s mental health refers to the emotional, psychological and social well-being of all men
