Working with color pigments digitally? try lygia! hueShiftRYB finds complementary & adjacents, mixRYB linearly interpolates between 2, 3 & 4 values + big catalog of pigments by brand and medium lygia.xyz/color/hueShift… lygia.xyz/color/mixRYB lygia.xyz/color/palette/…

Exploring the use of limited palettes with a quick portrait study. Starting from the famous Zorn palette: Vermilion (replaced with Cadmium Red), Ivory Black, Flake White (replaced with Titanium White) and Yellow Ochre.

#shadercraft (№10) buff.ly/49KiLhN by patricio gonzalez vivo (learning, inspiration) An excellent primer course to help you get the most out of #glslViewer and #lygia. Not only a great explainer for these tools, but a peek into an iconic creator's prototyping process 😍

While organizing the icons of lygia integrations examples, wonder what other shader editors are using LYGIA? I just added glslApp. I would love to add more! Who makes/maintain code or node shader editors? Which one you use and wish it supports LYGIA shader library?

More updates to the Shader Graph Editor! Now, with markdown nodes. Write an article, book, blog, and notes, all with embedded shaders. Here's an article by patricio gonzalez vivo on Algorithmic drawing from The Book of Shaders in a fully interactive playground.

“v”is slowly getting there. 120 FPS home made node based video mixing live coding setup using Metal via Satin (Reza Ali) and lygia (patricio gonzalez vivo) as a SwiftUI playground. THEY CANT TAKE THIS FROM ME. #quartzcomposer RIP

glslnodes for #comfyui now have a proper code editor + widgets, also support for textures (images), texturesArrays (videos), masks (it computes SDFs for you) and Optical Flow. All that with full integration to lygia

Interested on trying lygia's new raymarching pipeline (available on GLSL/HLSL versions)? Go to lygia.xyz/?load=lighting… By commenting line 18 you can disable the PBR shading function and use the default. Big shoutout to Shadi El Hajj for this changes.

Putting the finishing touches on a massive overhaul of lygia 's PBR pipeline. One step closer to production-grade real-time rendering in Lygia!

CG friends, when you code 3D scenes, do you you expect always right or left hand? Or depending the platform/framework? Should we pick a single default for lygia or seamlessly choose a default depending GLSL/WGSL/HLSL and Metal environment? Thread github.com/patriciogonzal…
