Martyn Schmoll City of Vancouver Exactly. What an achievement under intense public scrutiny and immense political pressure, incredibly tight timeframes and attempting to accommodate the interests of different stakeholders while prioritising safety of vulnerable road users.
Marie-Claire Howard 🇺🇦🇮🇱 Commissioner Howard access to Stanley Park was only restricted for 2 months at the beginning of Covid after which 1 lane has been available to drivers the whole way around Stanley Park Drive. Car parks to every major destination are open & available to visitors arriving by car.
Marie-Claire Howard 🇺🇦🇮🇱 With respect, Stanley Park is inaccessible to a lot of people and removing the separated bike lane is going to make it less accessible. It certainly won’t solve other complex accessibility issues in the park, such as the lack of curb cuts and ramps and the sea wall gates.
If you knew or were touched by Arley McNeney (Cruthers), I hope you will consider donating to this fund for her daughter Dot. She was such a great Mom & cared so much for everyone. It’s our turn to care for her by caring for Dot. Please retweet. 💜 gofundme.com/f/a-fund-for-d…
