Crews are installing solar panels on the roof of Oak Grove Middle School, which be the largest solar installation in the district. This is part of an ongoing 25-year plan to add solar arrays to several schools with an estimated savings $7 million over the course of the project.

A wild encounter at Westwood! Students in our Extended School Year special education program got to touch and feel turtles, salamanders and toads during a visit by the Richardson Nature Center. It was an engaging way for kids to learn about the animals that live all around us.
