For my #FeelGoodFriday picture - I’m really moved by this gesture from children at Christ Church Chorleywood where my wife Vanessa teaches. They’ve created this paper chain today to promote World Vision and to celebrate #ValentinesDay

Deborah, 13, is among a proud group of children here in North Kivu Province, #DRCongo, equipped with skills for their future through World Vision. “We can start our new life - we don’t want to look back,” Deborah and her friends told me.

"When you ask people on the road where they are going, nobody knows. They just know that there are no safe places anymore," our staff in #Idlib tell Al Jazeera English. We're doing all we can to protect children amid this chaos. aljazeera.com/indepth/featur…

A stark warning from our valued partner World Food Programme about the potentially devastating ripple effects of #COVID19 on the most vulnerable children. We must ensure vital services continue.

70 years ago, World Vision was born amid the Korean War. I honour colleagues 월드비전WorldVisionKorea marking this auspicious anniversary today & the huge role they play in supporting vulnerable children worldwide. This photo of World Vision founder Bob Pierce is a fitting snapshot from the era.
