Kohberger declined to make a statement in court. He said “ I respectfully decline.” Someone called out “coward.”

Kohberger has been formally sentenced to consecutive life sentences.

The sentencing of the man admitting to killing four Vandals in 2022 marks the end of the criminal case and brings a sense of justice to our Vandal Family. We will not forget Kaylee, Madison, Xana and Ethan. They will forever be honored at the Vandal Healing Garden and Memorial.

Going through the new documents, the one interesting thing— it appears as though Kohberger was identified as a suspect for the first time on December 19. Information about a suspect was not available until an arrest took place on New Year’s in Pennsylvania. KHQ Local News
