Today is an example of the wrong time for brands to cut ad spending with quality journalism. Look to Brands4News.org and others for ways to do it appropriately. it drives brand value AND is the right thing for society.

That’s $115m not invested in effective advertising on quality news publishers. Which could fund over 2000 US reporter salaries for an entire year. That’s more than the entire journalist staff base of the The New York Times.
