If you earn £120,000 a year in the UK, you keep just 29p of every pound you make. And it’s only getting worse under Labour. Higher taxes, more red tape, and endless punishment for anyone who dares to work hard, take risks, or build something of value. They talk about

I am loath to criticise my former BBC colleagues and I’m aware they weren’t in on the story. But the idea of a TV presenter losing his job being the top story on the website as opposed to Parliament being kept in the dark for two years about the Afghan data leak is risible.

An MOD Official told the Court of Appeal that a statement would be made to Parliament to “provide cover” for why so many Afghans were arriving in Britain. A government briefing paper said that ministers wanted to “control the narrative” and use a “robust public comms strategy”

Adam Wren Not something I've seen remarked on yet. I'm not sure how you'd even describe a system that reacts to blackmail / threats by throwing open the gates and then letting the blackmailer in specifically. Not the biggest story here, but certainly a chaser. Remarkable.

Basically, a male slathering himself in estrogen gel has, via skin-skin contact, induced early puberty in his 3-year-old daughter. 🚩The daughter had Tanner stage 3 breasts. Just about ready for a training bra. Normal for a 10-to-12-year-old. 🚩She was 108cm/3'7'' height.

In the UK, you can either run your business and take distributions, paying about 50% tax in the process. Or you can sell your business and pay a BADR rate of just 14% on the first ÂŁ1 million. Which is just absurd when you think about it.

Not only is it a pointless tax break, but the reality is for many businesses (including my own), if I was to sell the business, in all likelihood the buyer would be American. BADR just incentivizes entrepreneurs to sell their businesses out of the UK.

we’ve entered a weird era of performative, inexperienced founders who chase attention first... before making anything close to a quality product

leftists are just permanently broken. the correct way to look at the costs of AI is to just look at the dollar cost. if that's worth it you're done, you can stop thinking about it entirely. leftists have to think about how much water it uses, how much electricity, etc etc.

Lovable went from $1M to $100M ARR faster than any other software company in history. Huge thank you to everyone who made this possible.

The triple lock on pensions is the new NHS. No rational arguments are made. All emotion. If you criticise the system, you’re accused of being a genuinely bad person.
