As we head into our final regular season game tonight, congrats again to Brett for hitting the 1000 pt mark last month! #BrettFreeman #AKBasketball #TCC ⁦Brett Freeman

Last tweet. Mid major coaches! Let's not do this same thing with '25 PG Brett Freeman. Another point guard that can play right away with freshman of the year upside. It's embarrassing that he's still available. He's better then the transfer you are chasing Brett Freeman

At AK, he broke the single-season scoring record with 604 points. POY in conference. 1st team all district. Had 20 + points in 18 of 26 games. Scored 40 2 x (had 49 and broke Santa Ana’s record of 44). Stats provided by Mike Craft

#Hokies and Mike Young add a commitment from Brett Freeman (6-5), a point guard from Charlotte, N.C. At Ardrey Kell High School, he was the conference POY and an all-district pick. A Mr. North Carolina Basketball finalist, he had offers from Florida State and FIU.

When they announced the finalists for North Carolina Mr. Basketball in mid-January, Freeman was averaging 28.3 pts per game. Seems like his recruitment flew under the radar, but not entirely. He visited Tennessee in January. Gives #Hokies 12 scholarship players for 2025-26.

I think the guy I'm most excited about on the next Virginia Tech Men's Basketball team is Brett Freeman! Not only is Brett from just down the road from me in Charlotte, but he's an explosive scorer. Can't wait to watch you play and meet you, Brett. VT class of 2005 and Hokie hoops devotee here!
